- TPG-backed Matrix Renewables signed a new strategic partnership agreement with Horus Green Energy Investment to co-develop a ground-mounted solar portfolio of almost 420 MW in Sicily and Lazio. The first stage of this portfolio will be ready-to-build status by 2022. Matrix aims to operate at least 500 MW in the solar, storage, and wind sectors throughout the country
- Ontex broke ground for a large solar installation at the site of its factory in Ortona, Abruzzo, which will produce 11.6 GWh per year, equivalent to the annual consumption of more than 3,500 households
