  • TPG-backed Matrix Renewables signed a new strategic partnership agreement with Horus Green Energy Investment to co-develop a ground-mounted solar portfolio of almost 420 MW in Sicily and Lazio. ¬†The first stage of this portfolio will be ready-to-build status by 2022. ¬†Matrix aims to operate at least 500 MW in the solar, storage, and wind sectors throughout the country
  • Ontex broke ground for a large solar installation at the site of its factory in Ortona, Abruzzo, which will produce 11.6 GWh per year, equivalent to the annual consumption of more than 3,500 households
  • Glennmont Partners has launched BNZ, a new independent power producer company (IPP), to develop, build and operate solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in Southern Europe.  BNZ targets an installed capacity of 1 GW across Italy, Portugal, and Spain by 2024, of which an initial 350MW are in the advanced development stage by Glennmont
