Energy Commodities Conference 2019

Wednesday 12th of June 2019,Divani Caravel Hotel, Olympia Hall - Athens

This year the conference will focus on the role of the ‘Fundamentals’ which given their price volatility lately are back in the game. How the ongoing European market merge will be affected by increasing price volatility? In which way will the new power exchanges like the Greek and the Albanian one, overcome the price volatility problem? What is EEX idea about this? What are EEX’s new plans for the South Eastern European markets?

In addition, all market stakeholders need to understand deeper the effects of oil prices on the Gas markets. Will TAP change the landscape in Greece and Italy? When should it be regarded to take action? Are its volumes sufficient for safety reasons?

Lastly the conference will provide the appropriate attention on IT Systems. ETRM providers, forecast providers and Analytics Experts will shed light on the right way of Risk Measurement and Risk limitation, forecasting inputs and interpreting trading and sales KPIs.
